Normani might just be the hardest working young woman in music right now. It seems like every time we look; she returns with a new hit that we can’t get enough of. The beautiful and incredibly talented, Normani is back. Since her split with Fifth Harmony, Normani has been holding things down on her own. She’s also steadily built a budding solo career thanks to tracks like “Waves” and “Love Lies.”
Today Normani is back with another one, serving up a slick and catchy new single entitled “Motivation.” Normani released the track Friday, along with an eye-catching new video directed by Dave Meyers. The track, “Motivation,” arrives ahead of Normani’s debut solo album and she doesn’t disappoint. The track is pushed by this contagious pop meets R&B backdrop. The instrumental provides a solid home for Normani to do her thing, and she delivers nicely. The track comes to life with a fitting video that certainly has a throwback vibe that we can’t get enough of. Normani shows off her vocal talents while paying homage to Jennifer Lopez’ “I’m Real (Remix)” video.
