Old School, New School | adidas Originals Unveils ’80s-Themed Nizza Collection

Another day, another new addition to adidas’ family of footwear. This time around adidas Originals returns to reveal a new pack of the new Nizza designs. This time around, they offer up an ’80s-themed Nizza Collection that is sure to take your footwear collection up a notch. The new collection includes the Nizza Hi and a regular low-cut iteration. The sneakers are crafted from premium materials, rocking detachable stash pouches. Drawing inspiration from ’80s counterculture and the spirit of Generation X, the new designs are certainly eye-catching.

The Nizza Hit arrives in white leather with an -over tonal print that includes X’s and Trefoil logos. The sneaker is draped with a high-gloss sheen that is bold and crisp. The low-top iteration features a shaggy grey suede colorway. Small leather pieces offer a contrast along the tongue badge and heel tab. We also see a rich purple leather sock liner for a premium aesthetic.

Both are found with the detachable stash pouch loaded with an extra set of laces. The sneakers also share the same rubberized midsole with extended toe caps. The product’s descriptions are quite interesting, as well. The High is all about “perfecting the art of bad attitudes” by “cutting class and stealing rolling papers.” The Low’s description reads: “slip on your Wayfarers so nobody can see your eyes.”

The sneakers are set to arrive today on the adidas website. Check out the collection in the images below and pick yours up today. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more footwear and sneakers coming soon.
