The smooth sounds of PJ Morton are back! For those of you who haven’t gotten familiar with Mr. Morton, now would be a great time to do so. Today the talented artist invades the interwebs with an infectious, potent and smooth new opus entitled ‘PAUL.’ The project finds PJ providing an impressive set of new material.
Along the way, he does his thing with an array of guests, showing off his range and delivering a message throughout. ‘PAUL’ is packed full of contagious new singles, including some of our favorites like “READY,” “BUY BACK THE BLOCK,” and “DON’T LET GO.” Elsewhere PJ is joined by the likes of Rapsody, Jojo, and Jazmine Sullivan, as he provides a rather well-rounded effort. The project is infectious and thoughtful, smooth, and effortlessly appealing. PJ delivers something you shouldn’t be sleeping and flawlessly shows off his talents behind the mic and with the pen. Other standouts include “BUILT FOR LOVE” with Jazmine Sullivan, “SAY SO” with Jojo, and the album’s closer, “MAGA?” featuring political commentator Angela Rye.
