Press play | Spotify Launches “Soundtrack Your Workout”

Tired of listening to the same ol’ songs through your workout routine? Well, Spotify is here to help, as expected! We all have our go-to workout playlist. Maybe you have created your own, and you typically use it to get through your routine. However, change is good! The streaming giant has launched a new tool to tailor your playlist to your workout sessions.

Dubbed, “Soundtrack Your Workout,” the tool is a quiz-based feature. Users are asked a series of questions to build a playlist specifically for the workout ahead. The feature also surveys your standard playlist preferences, cooking up some impressive results no matter what your workout has in store. The tool will optimize its musical selections for weightlifting, pilates, or just going for a run.

On top of the music, you can also select a podcast option or a combination of both. The tool will ask about the length of your workout, the type, and the vibe if you have workout partners and more. After taking the survey, the feature will provide you with a “new, fresh personalized playlist” every time you complete the quiz. These results are culled from over a million workout mixes created by users worldwide over the last two months.
