100 Years Speed | The Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Edition

The good folks over at Mazda are celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The auto imprint has created something special, celebrating the world’s best-selling two-seater sports car. Today we get a look at the Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition. Sleek, stylish, and sporty, the MX-5 Miata certainly has its place in the world of sports cars.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition is based upon the 2020 MX-5 Grand Touring. The vehicle is available in Retractable Fastback and Soft Top form. Power comes from a four-cylinder Skyactiv-G two-liter engine that pushes 181 HP and 151 lb-ft. of torque.

What differentiates the 100th-anniversary model is its finish. The ride comes draped in “Snowflake White Pearl Mica” while featuring an exclusive red roof for the convertible and accents. The front fender boasts a “100 Years 1920 — 2020” badge, while the center caps have been painted with the red and black logo. Inside red leather seats and red carpets feature more anniversary logos and stamps. There is even a new key fob that is embossed with the 100th Anniversary Special Logo, which arrives in a special edition box.

The vehicle is set to release later this year at Mazda dealerships. Take a closer look at this celebratory machine in the images below and look for more from Mazda coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the automotive world!
