REFORM x Inspired | The Meek Mill-Inspired PUMA Clyde Court #REFORM

After debuting the first iteration of the PUMA Clyde Court #REFORM earlier this year, PUMA returns with a brand new colorway of the shoe. Again inspired by Meek Mill’s advocacy to reform the criminal justice system, this bold new colorway launches in correlation with Meek’s Free Meek documentary debut on Amazon.

The sneaker will be available in a striking red, and black color-blocked variation. The black represents the U.S. prison system where many people face unjust sentences that do not fit the crimes for which they have been convicted. On the other hand, the red represents the blood and sacrifice of those who have given so much. A special dedication for those fighting oppression and injustices over the last 60-plus years.

#REFORM is printed on the front tongue and outsole, representing the victories that we will achieve when organizations and individuals come together to work for much-needed reform. The outer heel features “WE HAD TO BE SEEN BECAUSE WE COULDN’T BE HEARD,” a quote from the legendary and longstanding PUMA Ambassador, Tommie Smith.

The shoe will retail for $120, with 100 percent of net proceeds from the sale of PUMA Clyde Court #REFORM benefitting REFORM Alliance. Co-Founded by Meek earlier this year, REFORM aims to reduce the number of people who are unjustly under the control of the criminal justice system. REFORM Alliance’s other founding board members include Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Michael Rubin, Robert Kraft, Robert Smith, Daniel Loeb, Clara Wu Tsai, Laura Arnold, and Michael Novogratz, with Van Jones as CEO.

Take a closer look at the second Clyde Court #REFORM in the images below and look for the sneakers dropping at PUMA, select retailers nationally, and in specialty boutiques in Meek’s hometown of Philadelphia on August 9th. Stay tuned for much more PUMA and REFORM Alliance coming soon.
