Rick Ross – ‘Port of Miami 2’

It’s hard to believe that Rick Ross has already been doing this for thirteen years. Well, after over a decade in the game and nine studio albums under his belt, Rick Ross is back. MMG’s head honcho and Miami native is back, serving up his tenth studio album called ‘Port of Miami 2.’

This time Rick Ross takes us back the beginning. The lyricist revisits his debut album and serves up a collection of new material in the process. The wordsmith stated: “Port of Miami started me on this journey.” He went on to add “It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones this album is for you.”

The Biggest Boss!

The sequel comes thirteen years after the original, loaded up with fifteen tracks and a bevy of guest features. Rick Ross shows off his lyrical prowess alongside the likes of Nipsey Hussle, Drake, Meek Mill, Wale, Summer Walker, Gunplay, Swizz Beatz, Jeezy and a handful of others. Rick Ross does his thing through, supplying us with a barrage of outstanding new material and effortlessly showing off his lyrical prowess along the way.

The wordsmith unleashes a dose of his uncanny talents and serves up an array of impressive new singles. The project is led by the previously released singles, “Gold Roses,” “Act A Fool” and “Big Tyme.” However, it also features other standouts such as “Turnpike Ike,” “White Lines” with Dej Loaf, “Fascinated,” “Vegas Residency,” and “Bogus Charms” with Meek Mill. There is also “Maybach Music VI,” which initially featured Lil Wayne and Pusha T. However, calls were made, and Push was eventually taken off. This album isn’t one we’d suggest sleeping on.
