The Detroit native MC, known as Royce 5’9, is back. This past Friday, the lyricist made his return, unleashing a brand new album entitled ‘The Allegory.’ The new project finds Royce taking on a new title on the album, expanding his horizons in the process. He’s not only showing off his lyrical prowess, but he also produced the album as well. Showing off his array of talents, the album comes loaded with a bevy of outstanding new selections.
The album includes standouts such as “Black Savage” with CyHi the Prynce, Sy Ari Da Kid, T.I. and While Gold. He also includes the pair of Griselda-assisted tracks, “Overcomer” with Westside Gunn and “Upside Down” with Benny the Butcher. Royce flexes lyrically as expected, but also shows off his budding talents behind the boards. The album features twenty-two new tracks with a ton of outstanding features throughout. Royce finds himself joined by the likes of Premier, Eminem, Conway, Vince Staples, G Perico, KXNG Crooked, and more. His brother Kid Vishis is included, as well as Ashley Sorrell, Oswin Benjamin, Emanny, and Cedric the Entertainer.
