SAINt JHN – ‘Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs’

A year and a half after dropping ‘Collection One,’ SAINt JHN finally returns. This time around the Brooklyn native is back with a brand new opus. Unleashing his project ‘Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs’. Over the past few weeks, SAINt JHN has been touring the country, sharing his sounds at listening parties from ATL to NYC. Now he drops the project for us all to hear. The Brooklyn-bred Guyanese-American rapper unleashes an impressive opus, providing us with fourteen new tracks in the process.

Along the way, SAINt JHN is joined by the likes of Meek Mill, Lil Baby, and more. Even A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and the legendary Lenny Kravitz get in the action. He also opened up about the project a bit, stating: “I imagine if me and a stripper got married, we’d play this at our wedding reception.” He went on to say, “And then at the wedding reception, and after the divorce, at the signing of the paperwork.” The project is full of excellent new material including “Trap,” “Who Do You Blame,” “Trophies,” “High School Reunion,” and more.

Back in February, JHN stated: “Collection One was remarkably honest, but it was just scratching the surface.” He also added, “I didn’t give you everything I had, I wanted to start the story. Collection One is the equivalent of me walking into the bar in a blue mink, you’re sitting by the bar, and I walk up to you, and I buy you a drink.” The artist describes ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs as “when I come back and reintroduce myself. I tell you my name, and I ask you yours.”
