The past few years have found Hit-Boy putting work with the likes of Dom Kennedy and SOB X RBE. Today the multi-talented producer, artist and more is back with something new for our listening enjoyment. Hit-Boy pairs up with Saweetie this time for an incredibly contagious and moody track called “No L’s.”
The track finds Hit-Boy and Saweetie showing off their respective talents, Hit-Boy behind the boards and Saweetie behind the mic. The combination sounds quite good together, and the duo effortlessly do their thing. “No L’s” is driven by these rattling percussion elements that are backed up by some punchy, hard-hitting bass drums. Melodies come in the form of these addictively simple woodwinds, providing Saweetie with one hell of a home to do her thing. She gives us a few braggadocious verses, showing off her confidence and her lyrical prowess in the process. We can get with both!
