Over a year ago SiR surprised up his impressive debut album, November. Today the TDE backed artist is back, returning with something brand new for our listening enjoyment. The crooner serves up a new album entitled ‘Chasing Summer.’ The new album finds SiR showing off his infectious ability and range while providing something impressive and smooth. Recently the artist spoke about the project, dubbed ‘Chasing Summer.’
SiR stated: “Summer is about freedom,” adding, “When you’re a kid, and you’re talking about summer, you’re talking about no school and relaxing and being able to do whatever you want all day.” SiR further commented, “having the freedom to live how you want. That’s the overall theme of the album, being free and being able to live how you live.”
The new album comes with fourteen impressive new tracks, including a range of impressive features along the way. SiR links with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Sabrina Claudio, Jill Scott, Smino, Kadhja Bonet, and label mate Zacari. Production comes from Kal Banx, Boi-1da, J. Lbs, Tae Beast, LordQuest, Carter Lang, and others. The album comes loaded with incredible new material. SiR serves up standouts like “Hair Down,” “You Can’t Save Me,” “Lucy’s Love,” “Touch Down,” “Wires in the way,” and “Mood.”
