This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Clarks Originals Desert Boot. To celebrate this incredible milestone, the iconic footwear imprint has created unique collaborations of all sorts, all year. Today they are back with another, linking up with the Italian fashion boutique Antonia for a new iteration of the desert boot for Fall/Winter 2020. The desert boot has been revamped with a paisley version this time around, offering a subtle and unique style like we’ve never seen.
The design combines the DNA of the original Desert Boot alongside Antonia’s eye for bold details. The collaborative release was inspired by patterns found on the traditional bandana patchwork. The pattern was created from single elements, while each shoe amplifies the design for a strong, contemporary nod. The boots are crafted from chrome-free suede, which offers stain and water resistance.
The latest iteration boasts a maple colorway and features a bespoke OrthoLite footbed made from recycled materials. The boots are finished off with an additional layer of crepe on the outsole, adding a new touch that was specifically engineered for this release.
