Stun With Style | BAPE & MCM Link Up For Fall/Winter 2019 Capsule

Following a tease of what was coming, BAPE and MCM have revealed a look at all of the items in their impending capsule collection. The range features everyday essentials with a luxe approach, offering a beautiful blend of form and function. The collection includes a hoodie, track jacket, crewnecks, sweatpants, and a bevy of T-shirts. The hoodie and hoodie and tracksuit comes draped in an exclusive camo print.

The print incorporates both MCM’s insignia and BAPE’s Ape Head logo. Running down the side of the sleeves and pant legs are ribbon embellishments boasting the label’s iconography. Baby Milo is seen on a crew neck while the Ape Head T-shirts are seen with the same special camo print. MCM’s Cognac Visetos print is included in either black, tan, lime green, blue, and pink. The range also includes MCM’s luxe leather goods.

This side of the capsule includes the Weekender Bag, the Backpack, the Large and Mini wallets, and Baby Milo-shaped keychains. MCM’s iconic pattern is seen on most of the bags and wallets, while BAPE’s ubiquitous Shark Face motif and tiger-printed “a” have been superimposed onto each. We also find MCM’s logo has been revamped to look like BAPE’s “World Gone Mad” print. The limited MCM x BAPE collection consists of women’s and men’s wear as well as unisex leather goods and accessories.

BAPE always delivers quality designs worth adding to the collection. This collaboration is no different. Take a closer look at the capsule in the images below and look for the range from BAPE retailers around the world, bapeonline.com and ZOZOTOWN starting Saturday, October 26th. Don’t miss out! In the meantime, keep it locked here with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear arriving soon.
