Beats and Eastside Golf have come together to create something unique. The two labels have aligned for a pair of limited-edition collaborative headphones to support the Morehouse College Division 1 golf team. The headphone design features a royal blue with gold beside the band that displays the brand’s mantra “Be Authentic.” The design is not available for purchase but presented to everyone from the Morehouse Golf Team as a gift, alongside Eastside Golf apparel and accessories.
Astor Chambers from Beats spoke about the collaboration, stating: “Partnering with Eastside Golf is another opportunity for us as a brand to work with amazing Black creatives looking to further shape and broaden our culture in a very defiant way.” Chambers went on to add, “Eastside Golf is a great example of paying it forward, ensuring that those coming up behind them have access to a wider view of what’s possible.” A $50,000 USD donation was made to the organization, while Eastside Golf founders Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, who are Morehouse College alumni and donated to the golf team with help from Beats.
