This weekend was a big weekend for music. Not only was it the second weekend of Coachella, but it also was a weekend of highly-anticipated releases. The Canadian producer, musician, and more, KAYTRANADA, made his return along with The Weeknd. The Weeknd celebrated his weekend in the California desert, performing alongside the Swedish House Mafia at Coachella. KAYTRANADA served up an infectious new remix of The Weeknd’s single “Out Of Time.”
The track is one of the bigger hits from Dawn FM and features a brand new sound. The remix is driven by this laid-back, groovy drum section which is paired with simple soft synth melodies. The combination provides this contagious energy for the track, something much different from the original. The Weeknd’s vocals float effortlessly with the instrumental, making the track feel as different as it sounds. KAYTRANADA always delivers something special, and this new remix is no different.
