No strangers to cool collaborations, Hublot is back at it yet again. This time around, they have aligned with Shepard Fairey and OBEY for a second time. The two have joined forces to create a unique new timepiece that brings together art, design, craftsmanship, and so much more. The timepiece arrives as a 45mm titanium Classic Fusion Chronograph which has been engraved with a design based on a mandala.
The design is seen on the dial in the form of open-working, showcasing Hublot’s 4Hz Calibre HUB1155 chronograph movement. Fairey’s ‘Star Gear’ signature is seen above the apex of the hands, adding to its appeal and attention to detail. The timepiece is detailed with a lined black rubber strap and held together with a brushed steel clasp.
The timepiece is the third art piece that Hublot has released this year. They have already collaborated with Takashi Murakami and Richard Orlinski, and now Shepard Fairey. A percentage of the funds raised from sales will go to Amnesty International, which aims to put an end to human rights violations.
Take a closer look at this beautiful timepiece in the images and head over to Hublot to find out more. Act fast; the watch is limited to just 50 individually numbered pieces. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of style and art.
