The west coast native, Vince Staples makes his return to the game today. It’s been a minute, but he returns with a new track and a corresponding lyric video. Though he hasn’t been dropping much music as of late, he has been busy expanding his empire in other ways.
The new single, “So What?” arrives after the premiere of his new series, The Vince Staples Show. The track, “So What?” finds the lyricist again showing off his undeniable talents behind the mic. The track is pushed by these bouncy drum sections which are paired with these incredibly smooth melodic elements. The backdrop provides Vince with one hell of a home to do his thing.
He takes to the track and gives us a barrage of some braggadocios bars. The lyric video fits nicely with the feel of the track and Vince provides another impressive lyrical showcase. Vince always brings something worth rocking with, and this new single is certainly no different. No word on where this track will live, or if Vince has plans to drop a new album anytime soon.
