In 1976, the Van Doren family created the original action sports brand when they released the world’s first skate shoe, the Vans Style #95. The sturdy construction, upgraded materials, and padded collar stood up the demands of skaters shredding the sidewalks and laid the foundation of skate performance shoes and design expression with the multi-panel construction.
The Style #95 still lives on to this day as the Vans Era model. It’s available in varying executions, colorways, and forms. In what has become a preferred canvas for DIY customization and artistic expression, we’ve seen the Vans Era in infinite skins and works like none other. That spirit is channeled in the Vans Era again through it’s newest incarnation, the Vans Era 3RA Vision Voyage pack.
Like a ripple on the surface of still water, the ripple the Era has created in the shoe and fashion world is reflected in the newest edition. Multiplied deco stitching extends outward from the original construction lines intersecting with the echoed lines from the adjoining panels.
The tongue is layered with three executions- one atop another. The Era 3RA Vision Voyage pack carries on the theme of three with triple foxing stripes, toe bumpers, and three overlapping the scabs. Fittingly, the Vans Era 3RA will be available in three colorways including Navy, Black, True White.
