The good folks over at Sony are stepping their game up, yet again. Today the tech giant returns with its FX3 cine camera. The camera is highly-comparable to the A7S III, created to cater to those specifically doing video work. The compact camera boasts a 4K 10.2MP full-frame sensor, as well as 15+ stops of DRAF and an attachable XLR handle.
The device also comes equipped with in-camera image stabilization, front and rear tally lamps, and a vari-angle LCD touch panel monitor. The camera also uses FX9’s S-Cinetone color science while rocking a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body with a built-in cooling fan. The body also includes five 1/4-20 threaded mounting points to be used with a number of set-ups, including one that involves Sony’s new Airpeak drone. The Sony FX3 is available now for $3,898 USD.
Take a closer look at this new device in the images and head over to Sony to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the tech sector coming very soon.
