Ready To Roll | 1984 “SAFARI” Porsche 911 Carrera

When we think off-road adventures, the last thing that comes to mind is a Porsche 911. Am I right? Well, today, we get a look at something that might change your whole perspective. Dubbed the “SAFARI,” this 1984 “SAFARI” Porsche 911 Carrera is ready for any backcountry adventure you can throw at it. The car started as a 911 3.2 Carrera which was used in a winter Hoonigans photoshoot by Larry Chen and Will Roegge.

The video caught the attention of Director of Operations of Kelly-Moss, Andy Kilcoyne, and now we have the KMR SAFARI. This impressive build took 10 months to complete, offering a wealth of new features. The ride boasts larger wheels and LT245/65/R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. A carbon-kevlar roof keeps things light and strong, while 30” Black Oak LED light bars at the front and rear let you see the patch. There is also a light bar at the roof, Hella Rallye horns, 6-pot Brembo brakes, reinforced chassis/suspension components, MoTeC electrical, and a KMR custom full roll cage.

The vehicle comes powered by KMR’s fully-built 3.4L engine, which cranks out 340 horsepower. This machine is ready to roll and ready to take you on the off-road adventure of a lifetime. For those of you interested, the ride will be hitting the auction block soon.

Take a closer look at this impressive machine in the images and head over to Vicci Auctions to find out more right now. Stay tuned for more classics, customs, and new cars coming soon.
