Not too long ago, we provide you with a look at the Engineered Garments’ New Balance 990v5. The special new pack is back in the news today as word comes down that the range will be getting a global release. Engineered Garments and New Balance will be launching their collaborative 990v5 in black, grey, and navy iterations. They will also release a set of matching graphic T-shirts.
The sneakers were previously exclusively at NEPENTHES New York back in July. Now word comes down that the three colorways will see a wider release. They are slated to arrive at stockists worldwide as the pair continue their collaborative partnership. The 990v5 features a blend of smooth leather, nubuck, suede, crocodile skin-style nubuck, and lizard-embossed nubuck. The patchwork-like upper makes for a unique look across both feet. Alternating patterns and designs throughout the shoes.
The sneakers are tonal and minimalistic, rocking branded insoles and a rubberized tongue tag. The sneakers also boast mismatched cotton and waxed laces. ENCAP branding comes on the rear-quarter, highlighting the silhouettes cushioning and supporting sole unit. All three pairs will arrive at select stockists worldwide on September 7th.
