Apollo Brown – God Help Me Ft. Black Milk, Ketchphraze, & DJ Los

Over the past year-plus, Apollo Brown has been quite busy. He’s worked on joint projects with the likes of Joell Ortiz, Locksmith, and Planet Asia. Now he’s back with something of his own. The artist is gearing up a new project, a musical ode to his hometown entitled ‘Sincerely, Detroit’, Today Apollo Brown drops off “God Help Me,” linking up with Black Milk, Ketchphraze, and DJ Los.

The track is the first offering from Mr. Brown’s impending project, and it certainly builds the hype. Apollo released a statement regarding the track and his upcoming project. He stated: “There are cities that get by on their good looks, offer climate and scenery, views of mountains or oceans, rockbound, or with palm trees. And then there are blue-collar cities like Detroit that have to work for a living”. The artist continues to say, “Cities that rely on the toughness and resiliency of their people. Cities that will not quit. Detroit has an unmistakable soul; nobody can duplicate what we give to the world.” The new project is slated to arrive on October 27th, via Mello Music Group. The album will come as a double-disc release, boasting over 50 Detroit artists along the way. Apollo will be joined by the likes of Royce 5’9, eLZhi, Slum Village, and many more.
