He’s back at it once again! Never one to let us down, the producer extraordinaire and artist, Black Milk makes his return with something brand new for our listening enjoyment. The new single is called “Black NASA,” an out of this world track that is surely going to be added to our listening rotation. The track shows up just a few days ahead of his new EP, DiVE, which is slated to arrive on Friday. “Black NASA” finds Milk linking up with Sam Austin, with both artists showing off their effortless appeal behind the mic.
The single finds the duo bringing their a-game, Black Milk with the production and the bars while Sam Austin holds down the hook with some of the smoothest vocals you’ve heard this month. “Black NASA” is pushed by these infectious melodic elements that are seamlessly meshed with some laid back, smooth, and mellow drum work. The track provides a fitting home for the fellas to do their thing, both of whom deliver a solid display of their respective talents.
The duo speaks about a disheartening-yet-true idea, speaking about how people of color need to “work twice as hard to get half as far.” Black Milk opened up about the track recently, stating: “The song represents a place where I—and many people of color are from.” He went on to add, “We have to make something out of nothing, as opposed to people who are handed the tools for success.”
