The popular Streetwear boutique atmos have been behind some of the sickest sneaker collaborations of recent years. The next installment of the ASICS Classics “NEXKIN” redesigns feature two different pair of the GEL-Lyte III in both a light and dark version from the mind of the Japanese branch of atmos. Both designs will feature bold patterns and reflective details throughout.
The exclusive textile NEXKIN was developed by ASICS for the perfect upper material for summer shoes. Extremely breathable, and lightweight, the “tech-style” panels will run alongside familiar shapes of white leather or black suede from the classic GEL-Lyte III silhouette.
An icy pale blue and light gray camouflage compliments the white leather while a darker more traditional woodland Camo is used for the black suede version. A classic white midsole sits on top of the different Camo coordinated translucent outsoles. In a contradictory play to the Camo tones, 3M reflective accents are added to make certain the shoes are visible in any situation, whether its for stunting or safety.
The GEL-Lyte III “NEXKIN” shoes hit atmos’ web store, physical outposts and select Japanese ASICS shops on August 3 for ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $140 USD).
