Whenever you get a new track consisting of three talented artists such as Belly, G Herbo, and Wale, it’s time to pay attention. Today the trio comes together for a new single entitled “Everything’s For Sale.” The track is the latest single from the soundtrack for Godfather of Harlem.
The soundtrack was curated by Swizz Beatz, while the three MC’s mentioned above provide their uncanny wordplay and delivery. The track finds the three going in over top of this energetic, contagious backdrop, flawlessly showing off their respective talents behind the mic. The track is the latest in a string of impressive new singles from the soundtrack.
The show itself, Godfather of Harlem, stars Forest Whittaker while based on Harlem mob boss Bumpy Johnson. You can catch it Sunday’s on EPIX. The soundtrack is slated to arrive soon, and it’s certainly one worth keeping an eye out for. The project is set to include a bevy of excellent material from some of today’s hottest MC’s in the game.
