Arkansas-born singer, BLAck pARty might not be a familiar name to you just yet. However, we are somewhat familiar with his talents without even knowing. BLAck pARty is part of Donald Glover’s Royalty collective. Royalty is the creative team behind some of Mr. Glover’s album and projects, including his hit show, Atlanta. BLAck pARty is here with his new album, Endless Summer, which arrives through Donald Glover’s Wolf+Rothstein imprint via RCA Records.
The album finds BLAck pARty providing a solid showcase of his impressive abilities. The album includes ten new tracks, offering a look at BLAck pARty’s depth and talents behind the mic. The artist recently spoke about the album with Complex. He stated: “I always approach every project with a general list of goals.” He went to on to add, “For this project, I wanted to really create vibes and grooves, kind of like a lot of the ’70s records. While working on the project, I listened to a lot of records from the late ’70s, a lot of Fela Kuti, a lot of different vibes and a lot of percussion-heavy stuff.”
