Build An Icon! The LEGO Vespa 125

The creative minds over at LEGO are back in the news. After commemorative releases of the Type 1 Volkswagen Beetle, James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, and ’60s Ford Mustang, they are back with another entry into the Creator Series. LEGO Creator has unveiled a new design that celebrates the 75th-anniversary of Italian luxury scooter brand Vespa. The LEGO Vespa 125 is an excellent replica of a 1960’s Vespa 125 dressed in pastel blue trim.

The piece was made specifically as a project for adults boasting fine attention to detail and exceptional quality. The model comes with a removable engine cover, functioning kickstand, working steering, period-correct 1960s Piaggio-branded license plate, spare wheel, helmet, and an accessories basket holding a flower bouquet. Clean, stylish, and eye-catching, the new design is certainly perfect for those Vespa fans across the globe.

The LEGO Vespa 125 display piece will be released on its website and select shops on March 1 for $100 USD. Take a closer look at the design in the images below and pick yours up today. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more design and art news coming very soon.
