Eliot Greenwald Reveals A New Clock Called ‘Instrument’

The New York-based artist Eliot Greenwald is challenging our concept of time. Known for creating vibrant works that celebrate imagination, the artist returns with something new. For his latest release, Greenwald aligned with AllRightsReserved on a sculptural clock dubbed ‘Instrument.’ ‘Instrument’ aims to challenge our perception of time, doing so with artistry and craftsmanship.

‘Instrument’ records and reflects time as an arbitrary experience. The hand-wound clock can be set at any time and will operate for up to a week. As the gears turn, cars and planets will rotate along the front of the artwork. Greenwald stated: “This is my contribution to an innumerable amount of objects that have attempted to anchor us within a partially undefined aspect of reality.” The artwork is made from a combination of wood and metal and arrives in an edition of 40.

‘Instrument’ will come signed and numbered by the artist and will be available to purchase through a raffle. Check out the stunning work of art in the images and visit the DDTStore for more information. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more art releases and art news coming very soon.
