It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from John Legend. The singer/songwriter is back with a smooth new groove entitled “Dope.” The new single is the latest from Mr. Legend, which finds him pairing up with the wordsmith known as JID. The track is a dance-heavy number that finds the crooner speaking about the best qualities of his lady.
He shows off his vocal prowess seamlessly and puts together a flawless display along the way. His cohort on the track, JID, arrives with a perfected verse, unleashing some racy bars while also speaking about his other half. The track follows John’s previous single, “Tomorrow,” which featured Nas and producer Florian Picasso.
