Back like they left something, Apple returns today with something new for the audiophiles. This time around, Apple has expanded on their ever-popular AirPods, announcing the all-new AirPods Max. The iconic company recently revealed the new wireless headphones, combining a number of classic AirPods functionalities and an over-ear design. The AirPods Max is host to a range of features and details.
The headphones include a custom acoustic design, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio. The headphones feature a knit mesh canopy along the headband, which offers comfort by reducing pressure on the wearer. The AirPods Max battery life boasts 20 hours of audio, talk time, or movie playback.
The device even comes with a Smart Case, which puts the headphones into an ultralow-power state, allowing battery life to be extended. The Airpods Max are being released in a bevy of colors, including “Space Gray,” “Silver,” “Sky Blue,” “Green,” and “Pink.”
Apple senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswick recently spoke about the new headphones. He stated: “AirPods are the most popular headphones in the world, beloved for their effortless setup, incredible sound quality, and iconic design. With AirPods Max, we are bringing that magical AirPods experience to a stunning over-ear design with high-fidelity audio. The custom acoustic design, combined with powerful H1 chips, and advanced software enable AirPods Max to use computational audio to wirelessly deliver the ultimate personal listening experience.”
