The good folks over at New Balance are back, continuing to assist in the general public’s battle. Starting today, New Balance will be offering the newly designed NB Face Mask V3. The mask will be available for the general public and comes after the company produced more than one million general-use face masks for the healthcare community. Back in March, the brand began production, while in April, a team of industrial engineers and designers produced New Balance’s first face mask prototype.
The design is a three-layer, machine washable face mask with a moldable nose piece and stretchable earloops. The three layers consist of polyester/TPU, suede polyester fabric, a polyurethane filtration foam, and nylon tricot. The masks are produced in New Balance’s Lawrence, Massachusetts factory boasting a structured style with a lightweight and breathable design. The company is working on a new athletic mask that will be available for sale in limited quantities in July.
