Of course, we love automobiles. We love automobiles from concepts to customs, classics, new rides, and everything in between. The creative minds over at Hennessey announced plans to build a 6×6 version of Ram’s TRX truck in 2020. Today we get a look at that dream-turned-reality, dubbed the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX. This isn’t your average pickup truck, and that’s why we like it.
The production version of the Mammoth 1000 6×6 has the standard 6.2-liter Hellcat V8, though boosted to push out 1,012 hp. The power upgrade comes from a 2.65-liter supercharger and a host of other features. The Mammoth 1000 is the biggest truck that Hennessey has ever built, which says a lot. The vehicle comes equipped with several off-road-ready features.
Underneath, it boasts locking rear axles, a Bilstein suspension, 20-inch wheels, and 37-inch off-road tires. The updates don’t stop there, though. The truck also features electronic fold-out steps, which makes it much easier to get in the seven-foot-tall, 23.5-feet-long vehicle.
