For the past few weeks, we’ve heard more and more from Juelz Santana. Juelz Santana may be behind bars at the moment, but that hasn’t slowed his work. The wordsmith has been dropping off new material since being behind bars, and today he’s back with more. Juelz returns with a new track entitled “Pink Eagle,” featuring Jim Jones and Dave East. The track finds the trio of NYC representatives showing off their lyrical talents, cooking up something impressive and contagious in the process.
The single is driven by some snappy, hard-hitting drums, menacing and energetic. The drum work is meshed seamlessly with some infectious melodic elements that mesh seamlessly with the rhythm section. The backdrop provides the trio with a great home to do their thing, and none of them fall short in their delivery. While there is no word on where all of this new material may end up, Juelz has been on a bit of a rollover his past few releases. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with any new projects coming down the pipeline. In the meantime, don’t sleep on this one.
