It’s been a minute since Lil Kim dropped off her last album. The New York City native changes all of that, returning with a new LP for our listening enjoyment. In fact, the last time she dropped off an always was 2005, and Lil Kim dropped off her album, ‘The Naked Truth.’ That same year The White Sox won the world series, Rihanna made her debut, and Jon Stewart was still hosting The Daily Show.
Well, fourteen years later, Lil Kim is back, and she returns with a brand new album. The new opus is entitled ‘9’, and Kim serves up nine new tracks, fittingly. The project is the first part of a two-part album, and she delivers something interesting. Along the way, the New York City native links up with the likes of Rich The Kid, O.T. Genasis, City Girls, Rick Ross, and Musiq Soulchild.
‘9’ is led by the singles “Pray For Me” and “Found You,” while a number of other standouts come included as well. Tracks like “Catch My Wave,” “Too Bad,” and “Jet Fuel.” Kim does her thing and finally comes through with another new album.
