Spring/Summer ’21 looks to be the year of the seltzer. Today, Topo Chico is back to reveal something new with a wide range of options to choose from. Known for their mineral water, the beverage imprint is back in the news with a new hard seltzer line. The beverage comes from the Molson Coors Beverage Company, blending purified sparkling water and natural flavors with minerals. The result is something unique and crisp, a flavorful blend that is sure to be a hit.
The four flavors included in the lineup are Tangy Lemon Lime, Exotic Pineapple, Strawberry Guava, and Tropical Mango. Each will be produced in four-flavor 12-can assorted packs and two 24oz singles, and one 16oz single can. Matt Escalante, senior director of seltzers at Molson Coors, opened up about the hard seltzer line. He stated: “We are seeing incredible excitement for the launch of Topo Chico Hard Seltzer with drinkers and retailers alike.” Mr. Escalante went on to add, “Topo Chico Hard Seltzer is a modern take on refreshment that brings entirely new character to the red-hot seltzer category.”
The beverage will arrive on shelves on March 29, 2021. As of now, nine states will carry them, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, as well as six metro areas such as Boston, Chicago, New York City, Northern New Jersey, Seattle, Vancouver, Washington and Washington D.C.
