When it comes to legendary off-road vehicles, there is nothing quite as iconic as the Toyota Land Cruiser. The FJ40 Land Cruiser has quite a reputation. The ride has become an incredibly popular platform for customizing, something that Icon knows a thing or two about. Icon 4×4 is known for crafting eye-catching, revamped rides, and now they are back. This time around Icon 4×4 has reintroduced one of the company’s first FJ40 variants, and it’s up for sale.
Icon decided to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of Toyota in America and 40 years of the legendary SCORE Baja 1000. The Baja Edition FJ40 st the standards for the project, offering a unique take on a legendary 4×4. The ride comes powered by a 450-horsepower alloy LS6 engine, which also comes with a modified 4L65E automatic transmission. The Baja also boasts a bevy of external upgrades as well. Those include a racing jack, power tank, ARB air compressor, Warn XP cradle mount winch, and an IPF HID lighting system.
The vehicles triangulated four-link coil suspension is a game-changer, allowing the ride to negotiate a variety of obstacles. This limited-edition machine is like nothing you’ve seen on the trail before.
