The good folks over at Toyota are back, and they are ready for any adventure. The Japanese automaker has partnered with Icelandic off-roading expert Arctic Trucks for something stunning, functional, and unique. The snowbound AT35 rendition of the Hilux pickup was created for researchers, scientists, and adventurers. This incredible machine was created to tackle the harshest terrains, offering a bevy of unique details throughout.
The ride has been lifted by 2.5 inches, offering better clearance and stability. A new suspension system was developed in conjunction with Bilstein, paired with 35-inch all-terrain tires. The AT35 takes the standard 2.8-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, which pushes 204 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque through all four wheels. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, offering ample capabilities in any terrain. The payload has been increased to 2,321 pounds, while the towing capacity is rated at 7,716 pounds.
As of now, there is no pricing information available; however, it is currently being offered by Toyota in England.
