Old Meets New! Charge Cars Creates The Electric Mustang

Electric cars are certainly the wave of the future. EVs have already had an impact, and things are getting creative. The London-based technology company Charge Cars are taking EVs to a new level with the Electric Ford Mustang. This stunning car is a reimagining of the classic 1967 Mustang Fastback. The result is a contemporary luxury EV that is sure to blow your mind.

The folks over at Charge Cars worked closely with EV technology company Arrival, the world’s first AI racing platform Roborace, and tire manufacturer Michelin on the project. The original combustion engine was replaced with a 536 horsepower electric motor capable of accelerating 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The vehicle boasts a range of 200 miles, while the DC fast charging capabilities allow its 62 kWh battery pack to charge from 20 to 80 percent in an hour.

The modern interior features a bespoke approach, though featuring digital user interfaces, sleek bucket seats, and premium touches. The exterior has streamlining features for a new look while keeping the original’s spirit and style. Studio head Mark Roberts spoke about the ride and noted that it’s not just a resto-mod, but “a brand-new electric Mustang, completely redefined,” and built from scratch.

Charge Cars’ Electric Mustang is now available for reservation at a starting price of $460,000 USD. Check out the ride in the images and video below. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more automotive news coming very soon.
