Powering Into The Future | Polestar Reveals The Precept EV

The electric performance car manufacturers over at Polestar are back in the news. This time around, they return with a closer look at their latest creation, a beautiful new four-door EV grand tourer. This machine combines luxury and sustainability, bosting outstanding quality and attention to detail throughout. Dubbed the Precept, the name aims to represent the vehicle, which looks to be a manifesto of what’s to come. The vehicle includes sustainable details, such as an interior that reduces the environmental impact.

It does so thanks to its use of 3D-knitted seat surfaces made from recycled PET bottles. Other details include bolsters and headrests that are made from recycled cork vinyl, as well as carpets made from reclaimed fishing nets. The Precept also features a rather unconventional rear-end. There is no rear window, opting for a low and sleek silhouette with optimized leg and headroom.

There is a single-volume glass roof that extends behind the rear seats, offering a nice view of your surroundings. The vehicle is quite tech-savvy as well, boasting camera-based units that replace traditional wing mirrors. The rear-mounted camera feeds a digital screen live information and visuals, replacing the rear-view mirror. The front is designed to encourage airflow, helping increase the range in the process. The aerodynamic advancements such as vertical wings on the rear add to the fuel efficiency, while inside is driver safety-focused.

Take a closer look at the Polestar Precept in the images below and look for the vehicle to make its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more rides from the future coming soon.
