The wordsmith has been doing his thing for a long time, and after nearly 25 years since the release of his Soul On Ice debut, he’s back with ‘Soul On Ice 2’. The official sequel isn’t one we’d suggest sleeping on. The wordsmith delivers a lyrically solid new project, serving up fifteen brand new tracks for our listening enjoyment.
The Carson, California representative, links up with a few of his lyrical friends throughout. ‘Soul On Ice 2’ includes the talents of Immortal Technique, Styles P, Pete Rock, Snoop Dogg, Diamond D, Cee-Lo, DJ Green Lantern, and more. Ras Kass effortlessly does his thing and provides another reason to be a fan. A few standouts include “Silver Anniversary,” “Street Superstar,” “Guns N Roses,” “Trapped Music,” and “Can U Feel It.” Along the way, Ras Kass gets production from The Olympicks, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Pete Rock and many more.
