Sound Quality! JBL Unveils Retro-Inspired SA750 Integrated Amplifier

For those of us who love music, sound quality is essential. The good folks over at JBL know sound, and today they are back with a look at something special. The audio brand is taking us back to the ’60s with its new 75th-anniversary integrated amplifier. The SA750 integrated amplifier takes inspiration from the JBL SA600 and SA660. The design features Class G amplification technology offering optimal sound performance and efficiency.

The overall design features a milled aluminum face and teak-wood veneer side panels. It looks retro, but the tech inside is quite modern. The amp is host to high-resolution DAC, a switchable MM/MC phono input, support for UPnP wireless, full MQA file decoding, and compatibility with Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2. With 120W of power per channel into 8Ω, the SA750 is a Class A amplifier and can switch power supplies depending on waveforms. This means less distortion with more accurate sound detail.

Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy & Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio, spoke about the integrated amplifier. He stated: “The SA750 combines the appeal of retro design with the most current room optimization and streaming technologies in the market.” Garrett added, “It’s the best of both worlds — past and present — and is already generating considerable excitement among audiophiles and enthusiasts to whom we’ve previewed it.”

Take a closer look at this retro-inspired design in the images, and head over to JBL to find out more. The SA750 is slated to drop this April, so be on the lookout. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the tech sector coming very soon.
