Now that season three of Stranger Things is being binged and we’re already impatiently awaiting season 4. While we’re sure we’ll be waiting a while, the show invades our news feed yet again. Nike and Netflix’s Stranger Things recently unveiled their third collaborative collection, consisting of the Cortez and Tailwind 79. Now they are adding to the collection. Today we get our first look at the Blazer Mid silhouette from the series’ “Upside Down” collection.
The sneakers come rocking an off-white upper with all of the clean, classic design cues expected. The tonal Swooshes and heel tabs are a nice touch, adding to the overall motif of the kicks. Other details include custom branded tags and insoles, host to a load of references from the show’s latest season. The kicks also incorporate hidden details throughout and pay homage to the show and celebrates some standout moments.
Details such as a coded message underneath the insole are a nice touc. While heat-reactive materials on the upper can be burned off, revealing a royal blue design underneath. We get a closer look at the co-branded footwear courtesy of @cran, and it’s worth your time and attention.
