The Newest in the Sony Alpha Line, The Sony A6600

Sony has been disrupting the DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflect) market for years and they stand to do it again with the newest edition to their Sony Alpha lineup. The tech giant recently released the Sony a6600 and laced it with some features that their rivals can’t touch.

The Sony a6600 is the newest crop-sensor mirrorless camera in the alpha lineup. It keeps up with the things that I’ve personally come to love about the alpha line in that it is small with a beautiful silhouette, large 24.2 megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor and the Bionz X image processor that helps lock in the still, crisp photo. Their image stabilization also helps with low-light and slow shutter speeds. Plus the Fast Hybrid/Real-Time AF system locks on to your subject in under 0.02 seconds and keeps them in focus allowing for stable, continuous shooting at up to 11fps.

The Sony Alpha 6600 is currently priced at $1400. If you have the couple bucks to move into the $1900 price point you can grab the full-frame Sony a7III. Check out the new Sony a6600 at Sony.com.
