The Oscar Niemeyer Furniture Collection

Oscar Niemeyer is known for his modernist architecture throughout Brazil. To complement his stunning structures, the designer has created a collection of furniture. Designed to match the same dramatic curves and beautiful dynamics of his buildings, today we get a look at the Oscar Niemeyer Furniture Collection. The new collection serves as a tribute to his legacy, and The Mews, The Invisible Collection’s London headquarters, will celebrate the designs with an exhibit of Oscar Niemeyer’s iconic pieces.

The showcase includes his Memorial and Alta lounge chairs and ottomans, as well as the Marquesa bench, Modulo armchair and coffee table, Rio rocking chair, and the On desk, table, sofa, and armchair. Each of the pieces features a unique and eye-catching aesthetic with free-flowing forms and modern aesthetics. The collection will be on display through mid-June. In addition, the items have been reissued by the Brazilian brand ETEL and sold by The Invisible Collection. Step up your style at home or at the office with this new range.

Take a closer look at this impressive contemporary lineup in the images and head over to The Invisible Collection to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding designs coming soon.
