The one and only, Thundercat is back. Today Thundercat makes his return with a new single called “Dragonball Durag.” The track serves as the second single from Thundercat’s upcoming album. The track combines both his love for humor and his passion for Dragonball Z. Thundercat combines the two seamlessly as Thundercat showcases his talents behind the mic and behind the boards.
The track was produced by Thundercat and Flying Lotus, while two create something incredibly special. The artist also gave a little insight into the inspiration behind the track. He stated: “I have a Dragon Ball tattoo… it runs everything. There is a saying that Dragon Ball is life… The durag is a superpower, to turn your swag on… it does something; it changes you.” He added, “If you have one in the wardrobe, think about wearing it tonight, and it may pop off because you never know what’s going to happen.”
This is certainly not the one to sleep on. Thundercat again does his thing, serving up a dose of his uncanny talents in the process.
