The west coast’s very own, Ty Dolla $ign is back. He’s been a busy man as of late, serving up new singles of his own along the way. He’s also been included on a bevy of tracks and remixes as a featured guest.
The artist returns with something brand new for our listening enjoyment. This time around, he drops off a club banger entitled “Hottest In The City.” The track is just the latest from Ty, who recently linked up with Megan Thee Stallion & Nicki Minaj for “Hot Girl Summer.” He also dropped off the J. Cole-featured “Purple Emoji” earlier this Summer. Now he drops off this contagious new single with a little assistance from some fellas from Memphis.
Ty hits us with a dose of his smooth vocal talents, getting quite a silky instrumental to excel upon. The track is comprised of these hard-hitting, southern-inspired drum sections which feature some catchy mid-tempo melodic elements. The track is a perfect home for the vocalist to do his thing, and he most certainly doesn’t disappoint. No word on where this one might land, or if the singer/songwriter is working on a new album.
