The High Life | The Desire House

Situated high in the Austrian Alps is a beautiful modern structure that blends in seamlessly with its rustic setting. Dubbed the Desire House, the structure was conceptualized by architects Wunschhaus AT and digital artist TABARQ. This imagined design is a modern dwelling that takes design cues from Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Bilbao Museum. This can be seen in its curved exterior and its seamless integration into the landscape. The home is designed on a hilltop with an interior that seems to uncoil.

This provides space for an open living areas and sweeping views of the mountains. The adjacent terrace shares the same impressive views, host to a jacuzzi, infinity pool, and sun deck. The structure is incredibly modern, from its design to the furnishings. The gallery-like interior offers a contemporary vibe that extends from the parking area and throughout. The home is a simple concept for now, though we hope to see something like it come to life.

Take a closer look at the Desire House in the images below and find out more from TABARQ right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture coming soon.
