The legendary Swiss artist known as H.R. Giger is back in the news feed. Today the artist is back to reveal a new collaboration with none other than Medicom Toy. The two have aligned to create a set of incredibly intricate and detailed BE@RBRICKS, adding to Medicom’s ever-growing range.
The collaboration arrives in two colorways, both offering monochromatic inversions of one another. The intricately drawn motifs feature mechanical space-age objects and cover the BE@RBRICKs from head to toe. Giger has included tiny gears, discs, pistons, nails, spikes, chains, and more. These details are put together to display a complex assembly that offers a robotic-like approach.
The silhouette’s head features a mechanical face that incorporates curved eyes, a wire nose, sharp teeth, and more. The BE@RBRICk is even host to a unique system in the center of the boxy, while the legs are seen with spring-like elements all the way to the feet. Indeed a unique item, the BE@RBRICK arrives in 100% & 400% renditions.
Look for the H.R. Giger and Medicom Toy to drop on January 9 on 2G Parco’s website. Take a closer look at the collaborative design in the images and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the art department coming soon.
