Known for colorful works of art with shape and texture, Sam Friedman returns. The New York-based artist has aligned with Louis Buhl & Co. for a new print suite. The collection features a host of new prints that use a unique hand-painted film technique. The pieces reference familiar and new colors paired with identifiable imagery inspired by his past “Beach Painting” series.
The works are an exploration in reimagining natural landscapes. This is created with his use of lines, patterns, and colors, producing bold and striking imagery. ‘Beach Portfolio One’ features six prints, using four to six colored split fountain layers to create the final composition. The collection is hand-pulled on Mohawk Superfine UltraWhite, 160 lb cover paper, coming in at 28-inches high x 20-inches wide.
