Battles In The Park | Jurassic World Short Film ‘Battle At Big Rock’

The Jurassic World franchise is expanding! Yesterday the franchise released a new short film called ‘Battle at Big Rock.’ The short film is set in a world where humans and dinosaurs live together, while the cast takes us to Big Rock National Park. Here guests can get an up-close and personal to these ancient animals, experiencing these magnificent reptiles like never before; though things take a bit of a turn. Battle at Big Rock tells the story of the family of four who then fends against the dinosaurs in a fight for survival.

The film starts off with a few families enjoying a night of camping in the park, bonding over campfires and more. Things take a bit of a turn as a few dinosaurs roam into camp looking for an easy meal. Everything goes well, as even a baby dinosaur shows up to get something to snack on. However, as bigger animals start showing up, aggression and attitude change things dramatically. The short film clocks in at around eight minutes long, and it’s quite intense. The clip was directed by Colin Trevorrow and co-written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael. It’s tense, climatic and perfectly sets up Jurassic World 3.

The short film takes place one year after the events of the last Jurassic World film, starring André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador. Check out the intense, action-packed short film in the video below and keep it locked for much more from Jurassic World coming soon; we hope. Stay tuned!
